BBQ Meatballs

Easy peasy BBQ meatballs are great for meal prep, game day, or pot luck contributions.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 LBS Ground turkey, chicken, or beef
  • 1 Whole large egg
  • 1 Bulb pressed garlic
  • 1 Small chopped onion
  • 1TBSP Salted butter, or avocado oil
  • 1 TBSP Salt and pepper seasoning to taste
  • 1.5 CUP STUBBS SF BBQ Sauce
  • 1.5 CUP SF unsweetened apple sauce
Directions:

Heat skillet with butter or oil. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add pressed garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Set aside to cool.

Combine raw meat, egg, seasoning to taste and mix well. Add in cooled onion and garlic mixture. Combine well and scoop into round balls on aluminum pan lined with sprayed foil or parchment paper.

Cook for approximately 20 minutes. Place cooked meatballs in crockpot (I always add a liner for convenient cleanup).

In small bowl, combine apple sauce and BBQ sauce and mix. Cover meatballs with sauce mixture, stir, and cook for 2-3 hours on high heat.
